The class will start when the insects are more active. So be ready to explore and capture breathe-taking macro images.

Neil is amazingly patient and thorough. He ensures that he makes time for everyone in the class - even those who rudely turn up with additional people in tow with no warning. I come away from Neil?s classes feeling much more Confident in my ability to use my camera effectively

    PHOTOGRAPHERS
    Neil Medland
Neil Medland is a Photographer with over 30 Years' experience. What started out as a hobby taking Lanscape and Wildlife photos soon switched to becoming a Professional photographer back in 2010. Starting out as a Sports Photographer with local AFL clubs, and Baseball clubs, we eventually went on to become the official photographer for Softball Australia. Our photos became so popular, that we were approached in 2011 to do a wedding. To say the couple were happy with the results would be an understatement. We soon became very sought after and then turned our attention to Weddings.

Over the past 15 years we have covered all aspects of photography. We have photographed Sports, Weddings, Family Portraits, Product Photography, Models, Graduation, and Events. In 2020 we moved to Hervey Bay and our focus has switched back to where it all started, Landscape Photography. With so much knowledge at our disposal we have recently started teaching and sharing this knowledge with fellow photographers.

I captured this sunrise at Point Vernon on the 1st of September. This spot offers an amazing variety of views with the low tide exposing rock formations, rock pools with spectacular reflections and the amazing colours that the sun provides as it rises over Hervey Bay. Picture was taken with Cannon EOS200D11 and Tamron 18-400mm lens, Set at 18mm, ISO 100, F11, 1/320s. Photography is my hobby and I am very green to editing so there is only very limited post edit in light room. Was just lucky to

Going whale watching with my family and mates. A normal shot of a cheeky cute calf ? . I bring two tele lens in my backpack. One is Sigma 150-600mm and other is Nikkor Z 50-250mm. My humble advice is normal tele lens is a good enough option as the visitors are very excited about taking photos with their smartphones and very likely they might be blocking your view to get a clear shot. Carrying the big tele lens might tire you out.Taken with Nikon Z50 Nikkor Z DX 50-250mm. Camera setting is

Like a cup of an antique coffee. On a laidback arvo strolling down the beach, I saw this beautiful subject in my eyes. Got an urge to capture this movement. I ran back to my car, grabbed my camera and took a single shot of it only. I m surprised I didn't know why I took only a single photo. But Luckily I love it when I sat down and finally checked on it?. Only a small retouch with LR. Taking with Nikon Z50 with Nikkor Z DX 50-250mm lens and camera setting is F6 1/2000s ISO100.

In 1989 I started a tradition of Photos with Santa. At the time I was Public Relations Director and Event coordinator for Bless Keller, later to merge with Dilbeck Realtors as Director of P.R. and Special Events. When I started this event we had 3 offices and Santa and I would show up at each office for a Holiday Party and Free Santa Photos. This was a client appreciation event as well as an introduction event to our communities. Over the years we increased our locations to 14 offices. This
